Scheduling a first appointment
Before scheduling a fist appointment, let’s set up a 15-minute phone call to explore what’s bringing you to counseling. From there, we’ll discuss your needs and come up with a schedule that works for you.
First appointment: $180
Ongoing appointment: $150
Reduced rate is available. Please inquire for details.
I am an out-of-network provider and payment is due at the time of your appointment. Upon request, I am happy to provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company. Please contact your insurance provider to learn if you are eligible for reimbursement and to clarify the degree and nature of your coverage for mental health services under your specific plan. It is your responsibility to verify your benefit coverage for mental health services.
Curious about what to expect from therapy?
Here’s an article I’ve found helpful, whether it’s your first time in therapy, you’re considering changing therapists, or re-engaging after a while.
RIGHT TO RECEIVE A GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE OF EXPECTED CHARGES
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose to work with, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
